**Summary**:
- You will be reinforcing a** team of 5 experts**, whom you will be supporting in your capacity as team leader.
- You will be the generalist who keeps an **overview and focuses in particular on financial compliance**.
- First of all, you'll make sure that all our accounting operations and the financial statements we produce comply with all applicable laws and regulations/accounting standards.
- ** Consolidation** with subsidiaries is one of these tasks.
- You will also prepare **quarterly, monthly, and annual closings and reports**. For reports, you follow the National Bank's requirements for annual accounts.
- You are responsible for the preparation of the Audit and follow-up. If anyone has a question about this, they can count on you.
- You also take part in internal and external working groups on **financial compliance**.
**Profile**:
- You have a good **general knowledge of accounting and finance** thanks to a bachelor's degree in accounting or a master's degree in finance.
- Ideally, you have at least **seven years of relevant experience**.
- You are very familiar with Belgian general accounting standards (**BEGAAP**). International Financial Reporting Standards (**IFRS**) hold no secrets for you.
- You like to **analyze**. **Synthesis** and conceptual thinking are also among your strengths.
- You look forward to **achieving objectives with your team** and developing (further) your management skills.
- ** Experience in a management role is not essential**.
- You like to **organize and follow things up proactivel**y, setting priorities if necessary.
- You have a **good command of Dutch and French, both spoken and written**.
- Clearly describe internal procedures and write clear reports.
