3pl Coordinator

Ensures the appropriate movement of people, materials, equipment by all modes of transport to support the needs of the business and customers. Includes defining movement support strategies and associated operating models; ensuring continued connections with business partners for movement demand planning; managing, enabling, and improving internally supported movement processes; identifying and selecting external suppliers and assuring their performance; and managing related support infrastructure such as shore bases, heliports, airports, technologies, etc.

The SC Operations Europe group looks after manufacturing, filling, warehousing and transporting Chevron and Texaco branded Lubricants within Europe. Within this group, the logistics department is responsible for all logístical activities within Europe including transportation, warehousing, freight forwarding, custom agencies,

The Coordinator 3PL is a key position within the European Logistics team to ensure logistics runs smoothly.

Key responsibilities are:
In the role of Coordinator 3PL for our lubricants business in Europe, your responsibilities are the following:

- Build and maintain a strong and solid working relation with all 3rd party logistics providers
- Effective communication internally and with external service providers
- Log and handle complaints
- Proactively look for opportunities for improvement and better efficiency in process and cost
- Daily management of ad hoc issues
- Measurement of performance
- Cost management and follow up of KPI and metrics to do trend analysis
- Project lead for logistics

- Qualifications & Experience:

- Bachelor’s degree with 3 to 5 years of experience of Logistics and customs in an international environment;
- Good knowledge of next level of IT tools (Microsoft 365 mainly excel)
- Understanding of SAP is an asset
- Fluent Dutch & English
