Overview:
SMT Machine Operator (for electronic assembly):

- You will tend to the machine by quickly and efficiently loading/replenishing feeders with reels of components, entering programs into automated placement machinery, and prepping for the next build with the primary goal being to quality and maximize machine productive time.
- You will able to run and setup all other machines in the smt line: Screenprinter, solderpaste inspection machine, reflow oven, automatic optical machine.
- You will pick, prepare and retour components from automated storagesystems.

**Responsibilities**:
Knowledge of safety and operation of Machines

Understand feeder sizes and pitches

Component Identification knowledge

Verify components & feeder on job cart

Load program on machine(s)

Perform machine operator processes (startup, loading a recipe, adjusting the conveyor belt, production runs, shutdown, and alarms).

Makes minor machine adjustments such as placement of parts, measurement of components and change or correct package size, clears machine jams.

Knowledge of safety and operation.

Ability to run machines independently; startup, loading recipe, adjusting conveyor belt, production runs, shutdown, and, Inspection and X-Ray equipment

Ability to write & read in English to complete Batch Log and Parts Changeover Logs

Product Inspection

Overview knowledge of IPC-A-610

Conduct in-process inspection

Knowledge of inspection process, inspect one section at a time, looking at component placement, orientation, polarity, value and missing parts

Visually inspect assembly for obvious damage, non-conformance, cleanliness, component mounting and installation, and soldering quality
