**Job Title **:Kanban/Scrum Master for Support team
**Division**
***Group Technology Services (GTS) plans, builds and runs the global infrastructure of Euroclear, and is additionally responsible for the IT service management to the operating entities of the various Group markets. Group Technology Services operates its IT systems and IT services in such a way that, at an appropriate and benchmarked cost level, it can deliver the agreed levels of service to support the requirements of the business processes, for both normal operations and during disaster recovery.
**Role and Responsibilities**:
We are looking for a Scrum Master to join our team:
- Guides and coaches teams on how to use Agile practices and principles to deliver high quality products and services to our customers.
- Brings the team to a high performing level by recognizing areas of strength and improvement and employing appropriate coaching and development techniques.
- Coaches the Scrum Team in their use of Kanban boards, again with a focus on helping the team members grow their use and understanding of agile principles and practices.
- Responsible for ensuring Kanban/Scrum is understood and the team adheres to the relevant framework theory, practice, and guidelines, and where it doesn’t the team understands why they don’t.
- Coaches the team in self-organization, cross-functional skillset, domain knowledge and communicates effectively, both internally and externally working within the team.
- Works with the Team, as well as internal and external stakeholders, to influence and drive decision making and support organizational project or product teams.
- Works with Agile coaches and other Scrum Masters to grow within the role.
- Contributes to the advancement and improvement of Agile practices within the organization.
- Facilitates and supports all Kanban/Scrum events: For Kanban they will include the Replenishment Meeting, the daily, and the need for regular Inspect and Adaption; For Scrum these include Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective.
- Acts as a leader who coaches and supports Agile teams assigned to mainly Business as Usual (BAU) work and to a lesser degree, important department initiatives and applicable portions of corporate projects and initiatives.
- Exemplifies and promotes Agile values and principles
**Required Qualifications**:
- Outstanding communication, facilitation, negotiation, and coaching skills
- Knowledge of an agile framework or method (i.e. Kanban, Scrum), or understanding of traditional project management principles and practices
- Adept at refinement, story splitting, estimation, velocity, retrospection, and other Scrum techniques
- Experience with Kanban tools like ServiceNow or Azure DevOps
- Good knowledge of implementing Kanban/Scrum in Support/Service domains
- Planning and problem solving with product management and delivery teams
- Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of project/product/service delivery experience, preferably using Agile frameworks or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
- Demonstrated experience facilitating meetings at multiple levels of an organization and an understanding of facilitation techniques
