Our client operates within the Port of Antwerp and is a global leader within port operations. The client is the largest handler of containers within the Port of Antwerp.
**Function**:
As business analyst you take the lead for projects within an internal software system. You are the bridge between operations and IT and write the requirements:
- You successfully capture and convert business requirements into a detailed Product Requirements Document (PRD) for product feature development.
- You work with the Terminal Business Unit representatives from Operations and IT to gather requirements and relay results to the Product Development teams.
- You work with the senior Terminal staff and Management to prioritize business requirements.
- You will work on autonomous work assignments and larger projects with larger teams under the direction of a Lead Business analist and Project/Program Manager.
- You will report to the AVP of the Business Analysis group.
- You contribute to the pre-study phase and participate in solution sessions and workshops.
- You perform fit-for-purpose reviews and evaluations of new functionality, together with your colleagues.
- International travel and make site visits to terminals as needed.
**Profile**:
- Education: Master / Bachelor degree with proven experience in ICT, Engineering, or Science.
- Experience: 10 years of experience in industrial ICT Business Analysis of high-end systems.
- Knowledge or background in Port operations & Container and Product Software Development (SDLC) serving an Installed Base.
- Broad knowledge of IT systems and platforms.
- You are analytical, results oriented, communicative & assertive.
- Languages: Fluent in English, with proficiency in at least one additional language.
