As Business Controller EMEA you will work closely with and support the EMEA Business with targeted analysis and reports of financial data and business information. The role is situated in Mortsel, but there is continuous collaboration with many international stakeholders.

**Job content**
- You act as the 'economic conscience' of the company and support the management team in a proactive and constructive way. As a business partner, you provide accurate management reports and analyses (turnover, gross margin, RECO and working capital evolution,...) to advise management in the development and realization of plans and objectives. You manage planning and forecasting activities, you explain financial concepts to Sales & Services organizations, all to support decision making and improving results in the region.
- You will lead a small team of controllers and report to the Lead Controller.
- You will work with the Credit manager to proactively address Credit and Collections risks from a business standpoint. Given the large number of countries you work with, with political and/or economic instability at times, this is a very important aspect of the role.
- You will analyze and advise management on Revenue Forecast, Order Intake and Order book evolution to mitigate and reduce business risks through proactive and corrective actions.
- You identify opportunities for further profitability improvement and support the implementation of these improvement programs in the region.
- You take a leading role in the budgeting and forecasting process.

**The desired profile**
- You have a master's degree in Finance.
- You have experience in controlling in a similar industrial environment. International experience with countries and/or customers in the Middle East is a plus.
- You have excellent analytical skills and are strong in variance analysis.
- You have strong problem solving skills and a proven track record of planning and execution.
- You are process and customer focused.
- You have a feel for numbers, data quality is your top priority.
- Obviously you have integrity and business sense.
- You have strong communication skills, both oral and written.
- You can influence and you are able to work very well with HQ-management and the regional MD.
- You can express yourself very well in English, any other language is a plus.
