Asset Lifecycle Management (ALM) is the process of optimizing the profit generated by your assets throughout their lifecycle. Comprehensive asset portfolio management, rigorous project execution, and efficient asset management practices help deliver desired outcomes.

The job aims at shaping, developing, improving, and implementing asset management processes and content, and assuring their use and improvement across the operational sites of Vaccines. For setting up and managing an asset performance framework to ensure effectiveness of asset strategies and work programs and identifying when adjustments are necessary to achieve service and corporate objectives.

Depending on the global engineering organization, the Global ALM Senior Manager will be accountable for secondary sites, or primary sites or any other split of sites.

EHS & QUALITY EXPECTATIONS
- Be a role model for Health, Safety, Wellness and Quality expectations. Ensure team members, site partners, colleagues understand GSK safety expectations and that health, safety, wellness and quality moments are part of daily behaviors.
- Contribution to site investigations related to EHS & Quality. Ensure proper root cause analysis and cross cutting across the network. Include confirmation activities during operational GEMBAs.

LEADERSHIP EXPECTATIONS
- Co-lead the development of the asset management framework, standards, and tools for the Vx sites. Communicate the ALM framework in an effective manner to the different site, engineering, and technical services head as well as across the technical organization using communities of practices.
- Shape, execute, monitor, and adapt the asset management approach to implement the corporate strategy and deliver the best value to sites so that they create the best value for our patients.
- Work per site and/or product value stream under in their responsibility to identify what best known method need to be deployed to meet GSK vision and annual objectives in terms of Innovation, Performance, Trust and Culture. Keep track of each and every site maturity. Use results as an input to define 3 years breakthrough objectives in terms of Maintenance & Reliability that will impact operational, cost and cash flow performance of the supply chain.
- Build associated plan of actions ensuring activities and milestones are clearly defined, resources are allocated, and targets will be met. Be accountable to enforce a culture of dashboard and to demonstrate that value creation is there and aligned with GSK IPTc annual objectives and next 5-year vision.
- Contribute to and prepare board, committee and executive papers for relevant reporting and decision making
- Leadership accountabilities to ensure consistent and visible leadership across the organization. Lead with integrity, dealing with issues and conflict directly and in a transparent manner.

CAPABILITY DEVELOPMENT EXPECTATIONS
- Work with site engineering department and their partners to build their detailed reliability journey ensuring they have the right resources and associated skills to reach targets (EHS, Quality, finance, operational,)
- Ensure an operational transformation support of the sites to lead the deployment of the ALM framework on their perimeter of responsibility (detailed plan definition, coaching, training, tracking of results, stakeholder management), escalate implementation risk when needed.
- Respond to quality, EHS and reliability performance oversights of the sites under their scope of responsibility, assigning responsibilities, tracking, and reporting progress and closing out issues.
- Lead and contribute to the animation of technical communities of practices (reliability, maintenance, engineering heads, calibration, planning & scheduling ) / provide coaching and support to developing these communities of specialists
- Monitor the implementation of the Asset Management framework and standards within the organization, ensuring that processes are implemented, roles and responsibilities are clear, skills and competencies are developed, and continuous improvement loops are implemented
- Leads and coordinates required team of specialist and/or cross-business group of experts (as necessary) to deploy best known methods
- Lead assessments of site performance around the ALM framework: process compliance, GES standards compliance (with a focus on engineering safety). Involve and coordinate relevant experts to support the assessment.
- Provide expertise support for troubleshooting and continuous improvement to guarantee product quality, robust, sustainable operations across Vaccines Sites.
