Regional Information Security Coordinator

Wienerberger is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced **Regional Information Security Coordinator** to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and confidentiality of all information systems and data within the Western Region (Belgium, France, Netherlands, Germany, UK and Ireland). You will work closely with other members of the IT team, as well as key stakeholders throughout the organization, to identify and mitigate potential security risks and threats.
**Function**:
- Develop and implement Corporate and regional information security standards, policies and procedures
- Conduct regular security audits and assessments to identify vulnerabilities and risks
- Monitor and analyze security vulnerabilities and incidents and provide timely resolution and response
- Collaborate with other IT teams to implement and maintain security technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and anti-virus software
- Provide ongoing training and awareness programs to educate employees on information security best practices
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, including GDPR, ISO 27001
- Serve as a point of contact for security incidents and breaches, including reporting to senior management and relevant authorities as required
**Profile**:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology/Security, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in information security, preferably in a international environment
- In-depth knowledge of information security standards, regulations, and best practices
- Experience with security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and anti-virus software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Due to the international character, a good knowledge of the English language (speaking/writing) is required
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential security risks and threats
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are highly desirable
- Willingness to travel within the region (up to 20%)
