Job Summary
The Sheet Metal Worker is part of our Maintenance department and reporting directly to the Chief Engineer/Maintenance Lead.
Work a full range of aircraft sheet metal duties including, but not limited to, disassemble, modify, repair, and reassemble complex aircraft metal/composite items and systems (e.g., airframes, fuselages, skins, ribs...) externally/internally on aircraft structures.

Respons. & areas
**SHEET METAL/COMPOSITE WORK**
- Analyze and evaluate structural damage to metal/composite systems and items
- Fabricate, install and repair a variety of items and systems made from a wide range of metals (e.g. stainless steel, magnesium, honeycomb, alloys, titanium and aluminum, and composite material);
- Execute corrosion repair, component removal and installation;
- Replace sections and patches of old systems
- Cut, bend, shape, and form metals/composite for items that have numerous irregular angles, planes, and curves with varying pitch and circumference;
- Use a variety of assembly joints, complex fastening system, riveted or welded joints, drill or punch holes.
- Assemble or repair items by seaming, soldering, bolting, screwing, riveting.
- Assembly methods shall meet appearance and strength standards, as well as critical tolerances.

**PROCEDURES**
- Follow engineering drawings, schematics, safety procedures, standards and technical manuals to accomplish assigned tasks;
- Present a clean and neat work area to our customers;
- Keep proper aircraft maintenance records & forms: keep the relevant paperwork up to date;
- Act as an integral member of our maintenance team assisting mechanics and avionics technicians in other tasks as required;
- Support the Chief Engineer in the continuous improvement of all work processes;
- Comply with health, safety & environmental policies and safety management systems;
- Handle all materials and tools following the safety instructions.

Experience
- Practical structural repair experience either in aircraft manufacture or as part of a maintenance team is a must;
- Experience in reading engineering drawings (dimensions, materials,)
- Experience of working with quality, safety and environmental management systems;
- Recognized apprenticeship for sheet metal/composite engineers;

**Skills**:

- Languages: Professional level (writing, reading, speaking) of English;
- ICT-literate (MS Office);
- Good communicator;
- Working independently;
- Healthy work mindset;
