We are recruiting for a Carrier Sheet Maker to join our Plate Making team.

The Carrier Sheet Maker performs a variety of tasks related to producing carrier sheets in many different sizes for flexo corrugated plate mounting.

**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Sorts and prioritises orders by due date and follows internal planning system.
- Reads carefully every carrier sheet specification prior manufacturing
- Flags every deviation from the specification and communicates to the teamleader
- Arranges all materials to optimise material usage.
- Operates all machinery involved in carrier sheet production.
- Production of carrier sheets with an eye for detail and precision, the job requires a high degree of precision
- Maintains work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition, monitors and corrects unsafe conditions.
- Follows prescribed safety regulations.
- Maintains inventory control to ensure that carrier sheet materials are always on hand and available for the manufacturing process.
- Additional duties as assigned.

**QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS**:

- Technical Education Degree preferred
- 1+ years of previous experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Basic analytical, prioritising, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management (from conception to completion), & planning skills.
- Basic verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, & reasoning).
- Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organisation, as well as, internal and external clients.
- Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
- Ability to work with and influence peers and management.
- Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting.
- Possess a mechanical aptitude; ability to use a large variety of hand tools
- Ability to work overtime as necessary.
