** Associate Director Sustainability**

**Responsibilities**:
As the
**Associate Director Sustainability,** you will be responsible for d
**eveloping an integrated sustainability strategy across the organization**. You will work closely with our General Management team to
**devise and direct the delivery of the company's sustainability commitments within the supply/value chains**. You will also create customer value through commercialization of those credentials and provide leadership internally and externally.

Your key responsibilities:

- Identify, select, and lead **tangible sustainable actions, create sustainability visions, set the strategic direction** and goals.
- Gain initial and ongoing approval, support, and buy-in for implementation, work on education and consultation, advocacy and promotion, monitor and report progress.
- ** Engage stakeholders in formulating/implementing sustainable actions**, work on partnership and team management internally and externally.
- Develop the budget and other resource recommendations necessary to accomplish strategic goals. Implement actions, work on project management, capacity building, organize and run meetings, plan and facilitate events.
- Engage with targeted customers and other stakeholders (suppliers) to discuss related sustainability principles, strategic alignment and overall theories of change on behalf of the enterprise to achieve consensus and overcome barriers, contributing to retention and growth of our market share with customers.
- Represent the company at targeted external forums, webinars, and seminars where the focus is on corporate or feed-to-food chain messaging and relevant and pivotal to building brand trust and visibility.

Qualifications:

- A degree in business/management/public administration, planning/community development, and/or environmental sciences/studies.
- +5 years of related work experience
- Proven ability to link and build tangible sustainability impacts and commercial relationships
- Experience designing and leading sustainability initiatives and programs
- Broad experience with and knowledge of sustainability topic areas such as farmer livelihoods
- Experience working across multiple supply chains and serving strategic/global customers
- Knowledge on the key sustainability challenges in the field of animal nutrition and health
- Management and/or project planning skills
