Joint Research Centre

The **Joint Research Centre** (agency of European Commission) is looking for an **administrative assistant** for a period of **6 months and renewable**.

As an administrative assistant, you will have following tasks:

- Take, transcribe, prepare and finalise notes, compose and type routine correspondence;
- Carry out various administrative tasks such as filtering phone calls, filling documents and document management;
- Prepare security files;
- Open, register and filter incoming mail and route mail to appropriate individuals;
- Note taking during various meetings;
- Administration of access request: contact with internal staff, third party representatives and management of data bases;
- Asisstance in work oddres and cost follow-up.

**Profile**

As an **administrative assistant**, you have the following criteria:

- You have proven experience in administration;
- You have excellent writing/speaking skills in English and Dutch;
- You are a team player and pro-active;
- You have a good knowledge of MS Office (primarly Outlook and Word) and MS Teams;
- JRC is difficult to reach by public transport, you have a car or live near Geel.
