**Working as a CSIRT Analyst**:

- Ability to maintain a clear head in high stakes, high pressure situation.
- Problem solving and ability to research independently.
- Strong knowledge of host forensic analysis (Windows/Linux) and networking protocols/principles.
- Skills in malware triage to determine whether an identified file exhibits potential malicious intent.
- Able to review log files and perform data enrichment and analysis (i.e. firewall, network flow, IDS, system logs).
- Experience of working in security-driven environments and knowledge of security principles relating to best practice.
- Knowledge in fundamental principles of risk, assessment, treatment, and mitigation.
- Knowledge of information security frameworks and standards such as ISO27001, NIST and SANS.

**What makes you stand out**:

- Three years in cybersecurity as a pentester, SOC Analyst, and/or two years of digital forensics practice
- Past experience in cyber security crises as a participant
- Experience in project management methodologies.
- Knowledge of policy and security documentation.
