In 2017 nam Owens Corning het Amerikaanse bedrijf Pittsburgh Corning over, die het kwalitatief hoogwaardig isolatiemateriaal FOAMGLAS®-cellulair glas ontwikkelde. FOAMGLAS®-isolatie kent een scala aan toepassingen in de bouwsector en industriële sector. Het uitstekende isolatiemateriaal sluit naadloos aan bij de bestaande activiteiten van Owens Corning. Voor de verdere ontwikkeling en professionalisering van de productievestiging in Tessenderlo zijn wij op zoek naar een Safety & Health Manager - Preventieadviseur.
**Functie**:
Als Health & Safety Manager ben je het boegbeeld van de plant in Tessenderlo voor alles wat te maken heeft met gezondheid en veiligheid van processen en medewerkers. Je adviseert, informeert, inspireert en sensibiliseert alle medewerkers van de vloer tot de directie zodat een veilige en gezonde werkomgeving prioriteit nummer 1 blijft.
- Alle HS [Gezondheid & Veiligheid] activiteiten plannen, organiseren en controleren zodat alle relevante partijen zich hiervan bewust zijn, dit ondersteunen en zich hiervoor engageren zodat de doelstelling “nul ongevallen” bereikt wordt.
- De HS-normen en criteria voor productieprocessen en procedures ontwikkelen, uitvoeren en opvolgen in overeenstemming met bedrijfsvoorschriften en plaatselijke voorschriften met betrekking tot gezondheid en veiligheid.
- Opleidingsprogramma’s, communicatie en advies met betrekking tot veiligheid en gezondheid ontwikkelen, voorzien en ondersteunen.
- Initiatieven verdedigen en opvolgen om risico’s te identificeren en te verminderen en een uitstekend resultaat op het gebied van veiligheid en gezondheid te bereiken.
- TPM Pillar Leader van Veiligheid, Gezondheid en Milieu.
- Deelnemen aan het Comité veiligheid en alle taken uitoefenen die voortvloeien uit de wettelijke verplichtingen.
- Je wordt ondersteund door twee medewerkers binnen de afdeling en rapporteert zelf aan de plant leader. Je maakt deel uit van het managementteam.
**Functie eisen**:
- Master denk
- en werkniveau en preventieadviseur niveau 1 (of bereid dit te halen), min. 5 jaar relevante ervaring op vlak van veiligheid en gezondheid binnen een productiecontext.
- Ervaring op management niveau is een troef maar geen must: ambitieuze en gedreven potentials met min. vijf jaar relevante ervaring komen eveneens in aanmerking.
- Uitstekende kennis van Belgische wetgeving met betrekking tot veiligheid & gezondheid.
- Achtergrond in een multinationale matrix organisatie en met TPM-implementatie is een pluspunt.
- Duidelijke, charismatische en vlotte communicator, zowel in het Nederlands als Engels
- Sterke leiderschapsvaardigheden: in staat om mensen te inspireren en te coachen. Een trekker die gemakkelijk connecteert met alle medewerkers en impact genereert.
