Your Role
As Business Architect within the Architecture Department of AXA, you will represent AXA in working committees (Assuralia, Portima, Datassur, & broker federations) where the following topics are discussed:
- new legislations,
- new product offerings,
- new interactions between sector members.
- Standard evolutions (essentially the Telebib 2 model used for interactions between the
insurers)
Your activities
1. Ensure that the sector evolutions are integrated in our roadmaps, and vice versa (i.e. the
AXA needs are communicated and prioritized at sector level)
2. Capture the business needs for AXA and take actions at AXA side to ensure we define the
right projects for these evolutions
- Create a common understanding business, IT at AXA about the sector initiatives.
- Formalize business requirements towards projects.
- Ensure that the implementation remains aligned with the original objectives
- Ensure projects implement a consistent usage of Telebib2 across the company and in line with the sector needs
- Ensure all needs for sectorial releases are well taken care of in our internal project planning.
3. Ensure AXA needs are communicated and prioritized towards the sector so we can reach the broker experience and automation levels (operational efficiency) that AXA searches.
5. Document & structure a vision (in line with sector & AXA objectives) and communicate it within the AXA organization
6. Define and document the business architecture (strategy, people, process, tool) and participate in the definition and execution of multi-year transformation roadmaps.
7. Define, structure, formalise and validate with all stakeholders, business solutions. You participate in the identification of the initiatives necessary to realise the needs (strategic and tactical) of the business and the (target) business architecture.
8. Identify and ensure that interdependencies are taken into account to ensure smooth implementation of projects, as well as the delivery of coherent business value.

- You have a master’s degree or equivalent experience and you have minimum 5 years of relevant
- experience.
- You must be able to actively discuss and hold workshops in French, be able to read/write English and
- understand Dutch.
- You have excellent communication skills (ability to communicate to all relevant stakeholders on their
- relevant level of information need) and you can write complex documents and deliver persuasive
- presentations
- You are good at networking and influencing.
- You are result driven.
- You are flexible, pro-active, structured and quality oriented.
- You can find trade-offs
- You are a team player, and you leverage the knowledge of your peers to ensure the best possible
- solution
