Meer dan 2000 professionals omarmen bij Smals elke dag de toekomst door zich in te zetten voor ICT for Society. Hoogtechnologische ICT-systemen zorgen voor meer efficiëntie in de belangrijke sociale verantwoordelijkheidsdomeinen van onze klanten zoals werk, gezin en gezondheid. Het eHealthplatform, een beveiligd uitwisselingsplatform voor medische informatie, zal papieren doktersbriefjes en doktersvoorschriften op termijn overbodig maken. Daarnaast zorgt de ICT-service Dimona er voor dat de RSZ de sociale bescherming van 4 miljoen werknemers snel kan laten evolueren, ongeacht hoe snel ze van job veranderen. Handig? Jazeker, en uitdagend ook.
**Functiebeschrijving**
Als Chief Data Architect speel je een centrale rol in het ontwerp en de ontwikkeling van het platform voor gegevensanalyse. Je neemt actief deel aan de invoering van een strategie met als doel om naar een meer datagerichte organisatie te evolueren.
Je superviseert het ontwerp van de gegevensarchitectuur en de technische architectuur van het gegevensplatform, met inbegrip van de verwerving en de integratie van de gegevens, de gegevensmodellering, het transformatie
- en kwaliteitsproces, het beheer van de masterdata, de gegevensopslag en de datamarts.
Je creëert een robuuste en duurzame architectuur die rekening houdt met de huidige en toekomstige businessbehoeften, met de budgettaire voorwaarden, de beschikbaarheid van de gegevens en de nodige resources.
Je evalueert en selecteert de nodige tools en componenten die nodig zijn voor een optimaal beheer van de gegevens (aankoop van gegevens, opslag van gegevens, gegevenskwaliteit, governance van gegevens, visualisatie van de gegevens en advanced analytics).
Je superviseert de ontwikkeling van conceptuele, logische en fysieke gegevensmodellen, van ETL-scripts, van definities van metagegevens, van modellen voor businessgegevens, van requests en rapporten, van werkprocessen en van onderhoudsprocedures.
Je zorgt ervoor dat de technische architectuur (van de gegevensopslag, met inbegrip van de fysieke componenten en hun functionaliteiten) correct gedocumenteerd wordt.
Je coördineert het werk van de data
- en BI-architecten alsook de technische verantwoordelijken van de ontwikkelteams.
Je evalueert tot slot de huidige technische architectuur en schat de capaciteit van het systeem in om te beantwoorden aan de verwerkingsbehoeften op korte en lange termijn.
**Profiel**
Je beschikt over een universitair diploma (informatica of burgerlijk ingenieur) en hebt mínimaal zeven jaar ervaring met gegevensarchitectuur en/of databeheer.
Je hebt al ervaring in een of meerdere van de volgende domeinen: bouw van gegevensopslagplaatsen en gegevensplatformen, gegevensmodellering, beheer van de databanken en optimalisatie van de performances, beheer van de metadata, master data management (MDM), functionele en technische analyse van de businessbehoeften (use case), cloudarchitectuur.
Je hebt bij voorkeur kennis van de volgende technologieën: SQL, ETL, ELT, OLAP, SAS Viya, MS SSIS, MS SSAS, Enterprise Architect of gelijkaardig
Je hebt goede conceptuele en analytische vaardigheden, je bent in staat om de theorie en concepten toe te passen op praktische situaties.
Je goede communicatieskills en je luistervermogen zorgen ervoor dat je gemakkelijk kan samenwerken en een vertrouwensklimaat kan invoeren om het akkoord van de verschillende betrokken partijen te verkrijgen.
Je stelt je constructief en pragmatisch op bij het oplossen van problemen en bent resultaatgericht.
Tot slot ben je zelfstandig maar kan je in teamverband werken binnen een transversale organisatie.
Je hebt een actieve kennis van de tweede landstaal en van het Engels.
