Join our Finance and Accounting team as a Senior GL Accountant in our office in Leuven, where you'll play a key role in financial analysis and reporting for our EMEA business area. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you'll drive month-end closures, ensure accurate reporting, and collaborate with the finance community to implement best practices.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Lead month-end close processes, ensuring accurate and timely group reporting.
- Enhance financial processes through standardisation and automation.
- Collaborate with EMEA finance teams to implement shared services and best practices.
- Manage local vs. IFRS reporting differences, prepare variance analyses, and ensure accurate accruals.
- Oversee statuatory accounts filing, coordinating with auditors and stakeholders for compliance.
- Support the Finance Manager in transfer pricing documentation and statutory/tax obligations.
- Provide adhoc financial analyses and support the business controlling teams on balance sheet insights.
**Qualifications** About You**:
- Bachelor in Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of accounting experience.
- Proficient in ERP software.
- Strong analytical skills with hands-on financial expertise.
- Fluent in English (written and oral).
