- The Project Controls Team consists of Planning and Cost Engineering professionals.
- As a Project Controls Specialist, you will perform activities for the overall Project Controls effort for a project.
- Your main responsibilities will be:
- Develop, implement, and direct the total Project Controls program
- Implement the Work Breakdown and Project Coding Structures
- Analyze variances in cost or schedule performance against the plan
- Communicate the reasons for the issuance of variance
- Propose mitigation plans to Project Management
- Contribute to the proposal efforts for cost or scheduling activities
- Review project profit recognition
- Provide evaluation of opportunities with management
- Manage project schedule including critical path activities
- Review schedule float for schedule slippages
- Other duties as assigned
This position performs Project Control functions related to cost and/or schedule and assists in the preparation of Project Controls activities for a project or assignment.- Prepare the Work Breakdown and Project Coding Structures for control and integrity of work to be performed as defined by the contract
- Accumulate and compile accurate cost management data to prepare the project budget and update the progress of the project
- Develop cost control/scheduling procedures, execution plan, and business plan for a project
- Participate in weekly project cost reviews/schedule meetings
- Develop and implement a basic change management system for engineering and construction
- Develop and maintain Management, Project and Control level schedules
- Other duties as assigned
- Must be authorized to work in the country where the position is located.
**Basic Job Requirements**
- Bachelor or Master degree
- 4-6 years of relevant work experience as a Project Controls Specialist
- Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English both written and verbal
- Experience with Scrum, Lean, Agile Methodologies or willingness to learn in practice
- Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
- Flexibility to travel internationally for project assignments and in support of business related matter
