**Service Technieker Straddle Carriers**:
Werken op twaalf tot zestien meter hoogte, soms hoger. Dat is wat je vaak doet wanneer je bijKalmar straddle carriers werkt. Maar jij hebt geen hoogtevrees en begrijpt dat het belangrijk isdat de straddle carrier zo snel mogelijk weer in bedrijf is.

**Wat zijn je taken?**:
Een straddle carrier verplaatst containers nadat de ship-to-shore kraan ze naar de yard heeftverplaatst. De straddle carrier stapelt de containers op elkaar op terminals of op vrachtwagens.Wanneer er een storing is en jij bent er niet, dan is er paniek. Het schip blijft te lang liggen endat heeft serieuze gevolgen. Daarom zijn onze werkplaatsen in de havens van Antwerpen,Zeebrugge en Gent.
- Onderhoud aan straddle carriers, op locatie of in de werkplaats
- Oplossen van storingen
- Je bouwt nieuwe machines op
- Grote herstellingen van machines, zoals demontage en her montage.

**Dit breng je mee als service technieker straddle carriers**:
Het is een uitdaging, het zoeken naar waar de storing zit in een gigantische machine. Het defectkan mechanisch, elektronisch of hydraulisch zijn. We hebben ook steeds meer kranen methybride technologie of zelfs volledig elektrisch. Het geeft voldoening wanneer je de storinggevonden hebt. Met een team van 13 collega’s repareer en onderhoud je straddle carriers, intweeploegendienst.
- Een opleiding op A2-niveau op het gebied van mechanica, automechanica, elektrotechniekof elektromechanica. Of gelijk door ervaring
- Je bent gemotiveerd
- Je hebt eigen vervoer om naar de klant te kunnen gaan
- Tweeploegendienst vind je geen probleem.
