**Developing 3D vision together**:
**What you’ll do**

You will contribute to better and safer roads and vehicles by creating innovative products for industry, road construction, surveyors and automotive companies. You will also be at the cradle of the next generation of solid-state LiDARs.
In close collaboration with electronics and optical engineers you will be doing the mechanical design of Lidar products and systems.
You take pride in making cost-effective, highly integrated, thermally well-managed sensors.
You define tolerances and select production techniques.
You will interact with suppliers.
You are hands-on to assist with building first units and to prepare for volume production.
You will be involved in customer projects and in the integration of our products into vehicles.

**What you’ll need**
- You have been a member of a product development team for at least 5 years, preferably related to opto-electronic systems.
- You have good knowledge of materials and production techniques.
- You are an experienced SolidWorks user.
- You are hands-on and able to help physically bring your design to life.
- You live at reasonable (driving) distance from Leuven.
- You can work in an independent way, while having the spirit of a team player.
- You can present recommendations and/or products you have designed.
- You are passionate about your professional career and your technical skills.
- You have a technical degree, preferably in Applied Sciences, Industrial Sciences or Product Design.
- You want to be part of a growing company where you can easily see the impact of your efforts.

XenomatiX’ product lines include a broad range of sensing solutions: the submillimeter accurate road lidar, XenoTrack; the long & mid-range XenoLidar and the turn-key solution for bike lane inspection; XenoBike, as well as software products XenoWare and Digital road Plus.

Today, the company counts over 40 employees in Belgium, US and China, as well as a solid distribution network. XenomatiX’ has partnerships with numerous distributors and integrators.
