Regional 3pl Manager

Reporting to the Head of Global Warehouse & Inventory Management, the position is responsible for the management of our 3PL Warehouse & Transportation supplier performance in the region.
The Regional 3PL Manager is accountable for fostering and developing a long-term relationship framework with our 3PL suppliers, and serves as primary sponsor and escalation point between other STG internal functions and the suppliers they manage.
The individual will ensure adherence to agreed service levels and budget by measuring and managing performance, monitoring expenses and investments, and driving continuous improvements in efficiency, performance, and cost savings activities.
The position may be responsible for a small team of individuals supporting the 3PL structure in the region. In such an event, they are responsible to lead, coach, and ensure the safety of the team, and is accountable for the overall team performance.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Help define and deploy the correct warehouse and distribution setup within the region, ensuring assessment, selection, contracting, and management of 3PL relationships, in conjunction with Procurement and key business stakeholders.
- Guide operational implementations and develop new areas of business.
- Identify opportunities for service excellence, continuous improvement, and innovation within the 3PL relationships.
- Optimize and improve service and cost levels, and work with inventory team to ensure product lifecycle management and adherence to inventory management strategies.
- Work cross-functionally with Procurement, Customer Service, and Country Directors to secure evolving market needs can be supported within distribution framework.
- Collaborate in close link with Demand Planning, Inbound Logistics, and Inventory teams to manage demand and supply exceptions, and escalate issues where necessary. Act as focal point within the organization.
- Drive Key Metrics: service delivery (OTIF), inventory accuracy, and 3PL financial performance.
- Work closely with Global Inventory Manager to reconcile monthly stock levels, transactions, and coordination of EOY Physical Inventory.
- Act as functional lead in corporate transformation projects.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Degree in Supply Chain, Operations, or Logistics Management (MBA preferred).
- +7yr minimum experience in warehouse, operations, or 3PL management in leadership position, comforted by solid knowledge of 3PL market in region.
- +5yr minimum experience in transportation relationship management
- +3yr minimum inventory management (APICS certification preferred)

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Willingness to travel, 30% up to 50%. Expect routine site visits at 3PL locations under responsibility.
- Languages: English and Dutch required (fluent written/spoken), German spoken/written a plus, other languages an asset.
