For our client DPG Media (known from VTM, Humo, De morgen, Streamz...), we are looking for YOU That is, if you are a real people manager... The team leader we have in mind will coach and guide a promising team of AP Accountants. Goal: bring the full potential of your team to the surface. Motivate & inspire them, so they can develop their full potential. Sounds great, right?
So you want to gradually let go of the operational accounting tasks? Great, because in your new role you will mainly be looking for efficiencies and process optimisations. In addition, as indicated earlier, you will act as a true people manager to steer your enthusiastic team of 8 people.

As a teamlead, you are responsible for the daily management of your team of 8 promising persons;
You know as no other how to motivate and guide people intrinsically to achieve the proposed KPIs;
You are also responsible for reporting these KPIs to management;
In short, you are described as a true people manager;
Because you are always looking for efficiencies, you are often involved in the continuous optimization of the various processes;
You also follow up projects in cooperation with various stakeholders across the departments (so not only within finance).

You translate these projects into action plans and ensure their correct implementation;
You function as a real business partner and are also the sparring partner of the Finance Manager, to whom you report on a weekly basis;
As you can hear, the operational tasks within the accounting are rather limited in this role However, when your team is drowning in work, you, as a born leader, will roll up your sleeves.

**Profile**:
Soft skills and personality are the key elements for this job, you are a born & natural leader;
Your communication style and coaching approach translate into the power to bring people into your story and thus create support in a team & organization;
Preferably you have already gained experience in a coaching or even managerial role;;
You do not shy away from taking the reins and you like to put your shoulders under various projects in which efficiencies and improvements are central;
You convert problems/inefficiencies into solutions & translate this into concrete action plans.
