Designs, develops, implements, and oversees information technology (IT), including hardware, software, virtual and cloud environments. Implements and administers short
- and long-term IT solutions that meet the needs of the organization. Installs, configures, administers, upgrades, and maintains security for IT hardware, software and compute infrastructure.

**Responsibilities**:

- Create and maintain documentation as it relates to server and storage platforms, processes, upgrades and service records.
- Contribute to the development of policies, procedures, and associated training plans for server administration, usage, and disaster recovery. Implement and maintain same.
- Conduct research on server products, services, and standards to remain abreast of developments in the server and infrastructure industry.
- Deploy and maintain physical and virtual servers, storage, UPSs, and other hardware.
- Interact with vendors, outsourcers, and contractors for relevant products and services.
- Participate in design and implementation meetings.
- Assist in design, implementation, and support for IT Infrastructure computing environments.
- Configure and manage servers and related physical and virtual devices to ensure their smooth and reliable operation for fulfilling business objectives and processes.
- Monitor performance to ensure system availability and troubleshoot problem areas as needed. provide performance statistics and reports. Participate in managing all server-related security solutions.
- Practice asset management, including maintenance of server component inventory and related documentation and technical specifications information.
- Grow job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, and participating in professional organizations.
- Perform server and security audits, and system backups and recovery as needed.

**Required Qualifications**:

- 2+ years of work in IT support
- Knowledge of computer software and hardware.
- Experience in troubleshooting problems.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- 1+ years of experience in the medical device industry
- Associates Degree in computer science or related field
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
- Highly self-motivation and directed, with keen attention to detail.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in a team
- oriented, collaborative environment.
