We are looking for a dynamic and creative **Head of Marketing** to join our Market Strategy team based in Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium.

As a Head of Marketing, you will spearhead N-SIDE’s LS Marketing team and drive forward the overall marketing plan and initiatives for our Life Sciences Business Unit in alignment with the branding and strategy guidelines. We focus on a niche market comprising a finite number of targeted accounts.

Your team’s responsibilities will include demand & lead generation and customer nurturing, in close collaboration with our Sales, Customer Success and Product, as well as content, digital marketing and events management. Your role will involve bringing innovation in marketing techniques (e.g. AI, ABM, etc.) and strategies to help reach our sales targets, growing our industry visibility, and driving high quality and impact in our marketing initiatives.

You will work directly alongside our Strategy team, whose responsibilities include the positioning and branding of N-SIDE’s solutions, along with market research and strategic initiatives. We also have a corporate marketing team that handles our website, corporate branding and marketing solutions (Hubspot, Salesforce, etc.) with whom you will collaborate.

**What you'll do**:

- Leadership: Lead and mentor a strong marketing team, infusing them with your contagious energy and fostering a culture of creativity, impact, accountability and passion for the industry.
- Innovation: Bring innovation to our marketing department and challenge the status quo to achieve greater success in generating sales and nurturing customer relationships. Evolve the currently-used marketing techniques towards more of a SaaS marketing approach in a niche market, ensuring adequate & efficient lead generation. Explore and implement innovative technologies like generative AI to boost efficiency.
- Tactical planning and execution: Oversee and refine the activities led by your team (digital marketing, communications, event management, content creation, customer nurturing, demand generation), marketing 360, potential collaboration with marketing agencies, and drive high quality while ensuring time is spent on impactful activities that align with our business goals.
- Creativity: Act as a creative visionary, shaping our content to be bolder, clearer and capturing the attention of our audience effectively.
- Metrics: Establish clear metrics and KPIs to measure the performance of our marketing initiatives. Regularly evaluate and optimize strategies to maximize ROI and drive continuous improvement.
- Hands-on contribution: As a small team, we anticipate the Head of Marketing to engage actively in the implementation and execution of marketing strategies. This role will involve a hands-on approach, requiring direct involvement in various marketing activities, collaborating closely with the team to ensure the successful execution and achievement of goals.
- Expertise-sharing: As an experienced marketer, share expertise with colleagues and the broader organisation, upskilling the organisation in terms of marketing and helping the full organisation understanding and valuing marketing actions fully.***

**About you**:

- You hold an engineering background (business, mathematical or biomedical)
- Fluent in English at a native or bilingual level
- Creative, with fun and original ideas, and an innate passion for the marketing landscape. An innovator’s mindset.

- Organized, proactive, and unafraid of accountability, with a structured approach to achieving goals and making (sometimes bold) decisions

- Adept at leading and inspiring teams, collaborating effectively with cross-functional departments.
- Demonstrated experience in a B2B, niche market environment with a focus on targeting a finite number of accounts
- Experience in building a 360 marketing strategy
- Ideally, 10-15 years of professional experience in Market
