Technicians - Leuven | Just now- Lab technician responsible for providing support in the AMSIMEC labs. This consists of executing and technically supporting automatic measurements in lab and cleanroom and providing general support to R&D users in the labs.- imecTo strengthen this position as a leading player in our field, we are looking for those passionate talents that make the difference Currently we are looking for a lab technician.
The team
What you will do
- You will become an expert in executing electrical test programs on automatic wafer probers in lab and cleanroom. This involves preparing the test script, loading the wafers on the tool and running the test.
- You will act as first line support for cleanroom operators when running test jobs on automatic wafer probers. This involves solving technical problems with the measurement job and solving hardware issues.
- You will also provide technical support to researchers on the different test benches in our labs, for example: replacing probetips, doing small repairs on a system or helping lab users perform measurements.
- During the instrument calibration period you coordinate the timely delivery of the instruments to the calibration service point and help re-install the instruments after calibration.
- You play an active role in the instrument loan service and probecard service work.
- When new systems are installed you help with the set-up by installing instruments and cabling in measurement racks.
- After receiving the required training, you will train researchers in measurement systems.
- You look out for operational and quality improvements and collaborate with the team to implement them.
