**The Role**:
As an automation technician, you will be able to analyze the instrumentation and control processes, recommend and make some changes necessary to optimize or adapt the production process.
You will work 3 shifts ( 40 hours) or weekend shift (12 hours).
**For the week shift**:
- we have the following shifts:
Morning: 06h30 - 14h30
Afternoon: 14h30 - 22h30
Night: 22h30 - 06h30
**For the weekend shift**:
06h30-18h30
18h30-06h30
**Responsibilities**:
- You are able to analyze and propose alternatives to modify or expand the instrumentation and control system needed for production optimization.
- You are able to identify the list of tasks required in instrumentation and control for production optimization. Including identification of resources that will be required for their implementation.
- You are able to implement programming logic and required equipment changes.
- You must oversee the correct use of the resources under your care, seeking to maximize their efficiency, care and life span.
- You will perform work in accordance with company policies, guidelines, legal orders, regulations and procedures.
- You manage resources for the execution of tasks (materials, equipment, services, inputs).
- You speak directly with the supplier to find a solution to problems.
- You oversee the correct classification of waste generated in the work performed under their responsibility.
- You oversee the correct execution of contractors' work and in accordance with AGP procedures.
- You are able to work out the technical bases of services required for the execution of instrumentation and control services.
- You are able to perform the backups of PLCs programs, Robot programs and HMI files.
**Requirements**:
- You have +2 years of experience in production/maintenance related positions. Of these, 2 years in the automation department with improvements and focus on machine efficiency.
- You have advanced skills in PLC. (Can program)
- You have advanced skills in robots (Kuka, ABB).
- You have good skills in electricity, medium voltage, high voltage.
- You understand electrical drawings and P&ID diagrams.
- The company language is English, you have to speak advanced English. The knowledge of Dutch is a big PLUS.
- You can use MS Office and SharePoint.
**The Contract**:
From the day you start, you will receive the AGP 6 month contract. After the 6 month period we will do an evaluation of your work, if positive, you will receive the _**undefined AGP contract + a salary raise.**_
