General Ledger Accountant
Doelstelling van de functie?
Ondersteunen bij en verzorgen van de verschillende financiële sub-administraties binnen de afdeling Accounting, conform wet
- en regelgeving en het financieel beleid van DPD (Belgium) nv, DPD (Luxemburg) en DPD Fresh zodat deze administraties een juist beeld geven van de processen van de organisatie.
Wat ga je in de rol van General Ledger Accountant doen?
- Je staat in voor de dagdagelijkse operationele boekhouding.
- Je behartigt de voorbereiding, controle en verwerking van de maandelijkse en jaarlijkse afsluitingen. Dit volgens de bestaande afsluitingsprocedures en deadlines.
- Reconciliëren van balans en resultatenrekeningen om zo de correctheid en volledigheid te garanderen.
- Periodiek de financiële gegevens rapporteren in een consolidatieprogramma
- Tijdig verwerken van inkomende facturen en thesaury transacties. Het administratief beheren van belangrijke interne en externe documenten behoort eveneens tot het takenpakket.
- Voorbereiding en opvolging van fiskale aangiftes, BTW aangiftes, wettelijke verplichtingen alsook het voorbereiden van externe audits.
- Je staat nauw in contact met andere departementen om een correct verloop van de administratieve processen en afsluiting te garanderen.
- Je werkt mee aan het optimaliseren van de bestaande boekhoudkundige & administratieve procedures alsook het in kaart brengen van nieuwe processen.
- Je voert periodieke interne controles uit.
- Je neemt deel aan projecten naar aanleiding van wijzigingen in wet
- en regelgeving, automatisatie, optimalisatie,die relevant zijn voor accounting.

Wat hebben wij van jou nodig?
- Bachelor in een bedrijfseconomische richting of gelijkwaardig door ervaring.
- 3 jaar werkervaring in een gelijkaardige functie. Een eerste auditervaring is mooi meegenomen.
- Stressbestendig en durft verantwoordelijkheden opnemen
- Respecteren van deadlines en gemaakte afspraken nakomen
- Flexibel in het opnemen van nieuwe taken en hands-on
- Je werkt zelfstandig, nauwkeurig en je bent leergierig, gedreven
- Je kan moeilijke onderwerpen helder uitleggen, ook aan mensen zonder finance achtergrond
- Analytisch denkvermogen/cijfermatig inzicht
- Grondige kennis van het Nederlands, Engels en een goede kennis van het Frans
- Ervaring met accountingsoftware, outlook
- Goede kennis van Excel
