Our client is a fast growing company active in the **non-profit organization sector**.
As **Audit&Risk Advisor **you will be **responsible** for:
- Under the direction and working in close collaboration with the SGO Manager and SGO Expert in the team, contributes to the success of the SGO responsibilities by providing support to the team.
- Set up the framework and deliver high quality documentation and regular reporting in terms of the organisation's policies, processes, risk and compliance and internal audit registers. the objective is to ensure that the company is in compliance with EU rules and regulations, the company's Articles of Association, and Internal Regulations.
- Identify the areas of improvement to the organization's documentation controls and overall consistency in all the company activities.
- Member focus: Ensures good relations in communication with the Executive level
- Develop, maintain and monitor the company's processes and tools including the company's Entities File for the benefit of the Association's governance.
- Ensure all projects established and managed in SGO Section are to the best standards of project management principles. Ensure adherence to the company's Procurement and Contract Management.
- Ensure legal compliance and resources of projects are assigned in a timely manner.
- Ensure consistency in the SGO Section deliverables and effective cross-section management.
- Provide support, as needed to SGO Manager, for the Annual Budget, Annual Resources and Annual Work Program including preparation of SGO Section forecasts to ensure the SGO prepares and plans well the future changes to be implemented.
- Regularly liaise closely with the relevant Heads of Section to discuss activities and developments ensuring best practices information sharing in this respect.
- Maintain and develop the existing Sharepoint sites, propose and implement improvements where possible
- Support with the documentation and timeline preparation for the Board/Assembly meetings.
- Ensure all third-party contracts are robust and clearly defined scope and service delivery metrics including the follow up on timely invoice payments and PO preparation
- Provide support to the Heads of Sections as needed to deliver upon the SGO activities and responsibilities.
The required **profile** for the **Audit&Risk Advisor **position:
- University degree with expert legal knowledge with at least 5-7 years' experience in a relevant position;
- Experienced in organisations policies, process including risk management and where possible internal audit in a relevant organisation;
- Leadership, organization and planning skills, with expertise in multi-disciplinary projects, assessing priorities and task management under complex structures;
- Highly developed interpersonal skills with the highest integrity and ability to develop trust with Members;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to negotiate and influence, and building consensus;
- Project Management competency including change management expertise with a proactive and flexible, service-oriented attitude;
- Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Ability to work within a multinational and multicultural professional environment;
- Excellent writing and spoken skills in English;
- Previous experience using SharePoint is desired;
- Understanding of company's culture and their values: Excellence, Trust, Integrity, Team and Future Thinking.
- The role is based in Brussels with travel expected to Member TSOs and other organisations as needed.
