Human Resources Business Partner

The HR Manager/Business Partner is a full-time role, based in Zele, Belgium. The position will report to the Director, Human Resources, LMS.
**Your job with us**:
- Be the business partner to the Site Leader, responsible for the accurate and timely rollout of all HR processes in the annual cycle.
- Support the hiring, development and retention of key talents and ensure performance management, development and succession processes are in place and robust.
- Manage the HR policies and processes within the Business Unit but also work with the wider European and Global HR network to standardise where possible.
- Support local managers with all day-to-day HR processes including any conflict resolution / grievance management / employee engagement activities.
- Lead the annual cycle of HR activities, including pay reviews, performance management processes, bonus management, talent reviews etc.
- Support the Site Leader and local managers with Works Council communications and regular meetings.
- Work with and maintain good relations with Agoria, the employer’s organisation.
- Support all restructuring and/or mergers & acquisitions activities
- Identify improvement opportunities and lead organizational development projects
- Manage recruitment and recruitment processes and development of new recruiting strategies
- Further develop and implement talent management and retention strategy to attract and keep talents
- Identify training requirements within the BU and support local managers in building robust development plans with their team members.
- Conduct annual salary reviews and support salary benchmarking activities.
- Ensure that payroll is completed accurately and within the regular established timeframe
- Ensure all HR administration and reporting activities are conducted accurately and on time.
- Maintain employee data within the HRIS system, ensuring accurate and timely data processing.
- Work with the wider HR network and with local external counsel to ensure that all HR activities are in line with legislation, compliance, quality, policies and business requirements.
- Help to promote a mindset of continuous improvement and efficiencies.
- Support global HR projects and activities as required and ensure efficient local roll out.
**Your skills matter**:
- Relevant HR qualification (Degree level ideally)
- Demonstrable practical experience, preferably in a global multinational US company.
- Experience in an engineering / R&D environment (ideal but not essential)
- Experience of working in a matrix organization with the ability to influence through good interpersonal skills
- Good working knowledge of Belgium employment law and practices
- Good negotiating skills, resilience, persuasiveness, and a self-confident manner
- Strong communication skills in both Dutch and English; other European languages an advantage
- Proactive, team-oriented approach with creativity and flexibility to adapt to changes
- Structured, pragmatic and results-oriented way of working
- Confident user knowledge of MS Office (including Excel), SAP Success Factors an advantage.
- Strong dive to work to high ethical standards.
- Residence in Belgium, close to Zele facility
