For this position you would be working with our client from the European institutions.
In close partnership with other Commission services and its customers, the IT Projects and Support unit of DG EAC develops and manages solutions to ensure the effective and efficient execution of its grant programs, such as Erasmus+ and the European Solidarity Corps. Erasmus+ is an EU program that supports education, training, youth, and sports throughout Europe. The European Solidarity Corps provides young people with opportunities to volunteer or work on projects that benefit communities and promote solidarity. Both initiatives are designed to enhance skills, encourage social inclusion, and uphold European values. Below are the details of your role and requirements.
**Your role**
- Design, set up, and oversee automated tests.
- Assist in developing a strategy to incorporate automated testing into the overall testing process.
- Assess tools and technologies to determine the best fit for automation within a DevSecOps framework.
- Develop a strategy and methodology for establishing a test automation architecture.
- Design and implement new or updated test automation solutions tailored to business requirements.
- Facilitate the shift from manual testing to an automated testing approach.
- Generate automated test reports and gather metrics.

Who we think you are:
- Expert knowledge of Test Strategy, Test Pyramid and V-Model XXX (minimum 5 years of experience)
- Expert knowledge of developing unit tests in Spring and Angular (minimum 3 years of experience)
- Expert knowledge of developing narrow and wide integration testing and contract testing (minimum 3 years of experience)
- Expert knowledge of end-to-end testing in Angular (minimum 3 years of experience)
- ISTQB Advanced Level Test Automation Engineer or equivalent
- Knowledge of test automation technologies, tools and techniques.
- Hands-on experience in the creation of test automation solutions.
- Knowledge of Test Management and Defect Tracking tools.
- Experience in the test data management.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good redaction skills, experience in preparation of written reports.
- Capability of integration in an international/multi-cultural environment, rapid self-starting capability and experience in working in team.
