We are looking for a **EMEA Warehouse & Distribution Manager **to work with our Global Logistics & Fulfilment organization with over 80 employees. Do you have a passion for Supply chain & Logistics? Then we would love to hear from you.
**What you’ll do**
- Build a strong strategic and operational relationship with the 3PL, to drive and meet defined KPI’s, business goals & objectives and ensure stability in warehouse operations
- Lead the reviews with Logistics and Customer service teams to plan and execute shipments, identify improvement opportunities, and implement changes.
- Challenge existing ways of working using DBS tools to drive higher operational efficiencies.
- Identify most appropriate storage configurations, inventory slotting and consolidation of warehouse layouts to maximize distribution footprint.
- Manage and lead Kaizen and Gemba workouts with 3PL leading to process improvements
- Lead regular daily, weekly and monthly business reviews with stakeholders and 3PL’s.
- Demonstrate analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills with a proven ability to drive results targeted at on-time orders to customers, identification of excess inventory, and cost savings projects
- Be the single point of contact for the warehouse operations escalations and responsible for being audit ready (Quality, EHS, Security, Business Continuity audits)
- Own and manage the warehouse operations quality performance. Drive root cause analysis with 3PL quality teams and ensure no repeat defects
- Drive continuous productivity & compliance improvements
- Functional understanding of WMS, TMS, and Oracle ERP systems
**Who you are**
- Bachelor degree (or High School Diploma and a minimum of 6 operations experience), project management experience
- Minimum of 6 years in Operational environment of Distribution, Logistics or Transportation Management
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively in a multi-functional and highly matrix organization
- Proven ability to execute, multi-task, and deliver on commitments
- Effective problem solving, root cause analytical skills.
- Experience of improvement work using LEAN.
- QMS - Work closely with 3PL to ensure compliance with FDA, GMP, OHSA, DOT, SOX
