Finance Coordinator

**_The role_**

We are looking for a driven and organised Finance Coordinator.

Reporting to the Managing Director and with dotted line to Head of Financial Control, the role will have responsibility for maintaining the purchase and sales ledger, preparation of supplier payments and reconciling bank accounts.

**Key tasks of the role include, but aren’t limited to**:

- Maintain AR + AP ledgers to a high standard, ensuring invoices are posted timely and accurately.
- Travel expense claims
- Payments and regular bank reconciliations.
- Managing accounts inbox, ensuring great communication with external and internal stakeholders as well as resolving any queries.
- Preparation of weekly payment run.
- Assisting with preparation of balance sheet reconciliations, limited to AR and AP ledgers.
- Collaborating with the Operations and Sales teams.
- Any other adhoc duties required by the Managing Director.

**Essential skills & qualifications**:

- Accountancy/ Finance degree or relevant qualification.
- Solid understanding of AP/AR processes.
- At least two years adequate work experience.
- Ability to take initiative and identify areas of improvement.
- highly organised with a strong eye for detail.
- Fluent in Dutch. Sufficient English to understand internal accounting policies and attend meeting in English.
- Confident communicator, polite and professional.
- Able to produce accurate work under tight deadlines.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office - Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively within a team.
- Experience in MicroSoft accounting software, as Business Central, Navision.
