Subcontract Manager

The department **International Projects,** located in **Grimbergen,** is looking for an experienced Subcontract Manager to realize our ever-challenging objectives.

As a **Subcontract Manager**, you are responsible for all subcontractor purchasing activities for large and complex projects, and in close collaboration with the Project Manager and Project Purchaser.
You are acting as a discussion partner from the quotation phase to the completion of a project.
- you are actively involved in defining the purchasing and execution strategy
- you analyse the market and the development of cooperation agreements for your specific categories, i.c. subcontracting
- you negotiate with subcontractors with taking into account all specific needs of the projects
- you provide advice and collaborate with the project team
- you ensure that the internal customer's requests are processed in accordance with specific guidelines
- you check and monitor the contractual conditions and act accordingly in case of deviation
- you provide reports on the results achieved and the status of the purchasing process
- you anticipate and intervene on possible flaws such as delay, budget overrun, inefficiencyin subcontractor performance

**It’s you we’ve been looking for, with**:

- your master’s in engineering, economics or law
- your relevant experience in project purchasing for large projects in international context
- your proven experience in contracting, negotiating and/or project procurement
- ideally, your knowledge of international subcontracting and market players (big plus)
- your problem-solving, accurate and numerical skills
- your communicative, flexible and stress resistance attitude
- your team spirit with a sense for initiative
- your very good knowledge of Dutch and/or French and English (German is a plus)
