Cook / Allround Production Worker

Vanderhaegen Potatoes is a family business with great passion for **potatoes**. We are specialized in shipping, sorting, processing, packing and delivering our potato products.

Our company is growing and we're looking for a **cook / allround production worker** in the day shift.

You will be employed in Horebeke with 40 other colleagues. Your day will start between 5h and 8h30 (depending on the schedule).

When the potato cookers are heated up, you start cooking, preparing herbs, processing the products. Your sense of responsibility and your ability to see work make sure that the production process efficiently keeps going. You may carry out other tasks as packing, labeling,... as well when needed.

The second part of your day you are responsable for cleaning the machines and your working space. Hygiene is very important in cleaning so your day is done when all machines are cleaned thouroughly and reassembled so that they are ready for production the next day.

Seeing this work involves heavy machinery and lifting some weight, a good physical health is necessary. A passion or experience with food is a plus.
