- GDT is seeking a highly skilled and creative person who combines analyst and Developer to join our dynamic team.

As a Developer, you will play a crucial role in the development and enhancement of our CAD software solutions. You preferably have a strong background in software development, a deep understanding of CAD systems involved in semiconductor design, and a passion for creating user-friendly and efficient design tools. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, participating in the full software development life cycle, and contributing to the evolution of our CAD products.
- More specifically:
**As an analyst**, you will:

- Conduct detailed analysis of CAD/design workflows, identifying opportunities for improvement and optimization
- In collaboration with our architects, run proof of concepts (prototypes) to validate the requirements with your stakeholders
- Translate the specific CAD requirements into detailed developer specifications
- Work closely with the development team to ensure that CAD software meets user requirements and industry standards
- Develop and maintain documentation, including user guides, process maps, and training materials for CAD systems
- Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring they can maximise the benefits of CAD tools
- In collaboration with the data analyst, map the data involved and design performance metrics to derive actionable insights for continuous improvement
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in CAD, making recommendations for adoption as appropriate
- Collaborate with IT teams to troubleshoot and resolve CAD system issues

**As a developer**, you will:

- Participate in the entire software development life cycle, from specification to coding, testing, and deployment
- Write efficient, maintainable, and scalable code according to coding standards. Implement new features and functionalities based on project requirements
- Diligently implement Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices throughout the software development life cycle
- Utilize version control systems to manage and track changes in the codebase, ensuring version consistency and facilitating collaboration among team members
- Integrate code changes into CI/CD pipelines, enabling automated testing, building, and deployment to ensure a streamlined and efficient development process
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in CAD development
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand user needs and incorporate feedback into software improvements

YOUR PROFILE
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience as a business analyst, with a focus on CAD systems
- Proven experience as a CAD Developer or in a similar role, with a strong portfolio of CAD software projects in semiconductor industries
- Deep understanding of CAD-related platforms involved in semiconductor design
- Proficiency in multiple programming languages and frameworks (Cadence SKILL, PVL, Ravel, Python, Java, Spark, etc.)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools
