The Job

As a Functional Analyst you will act as a bridge between what the integration needs of the business and IT.
Your main responsibilities are:
- You analyze the design components to meet solution specifications in the domain of Integration & Orchestration.
- You contribute to low-level designs.
- You create designs to ensure optimal efficiency, functionality and user experience.
Your Profile
- You have minimum 2-3 years of relevant functional analysis experience, expertise with integration is a plus not a must-have.
- You are familiar with coding languages like Java, Javascript, HTML, CSS
- You have good notions on API database knowledge and MS SQL.
- You have experience within testing procedures like unit testing, integration testing and system testing.
- You are familiar with the Agile working methodology and collaboration tools like Azure DevOps Services.
- You are an expert in UML modeling.
- You are fluent in English, knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
- You are a communicative teamplayer who is eager to learn and wants to grow together with the department.
Expected Results
Functional Design Documents
- Outline the expected behavior of a system, once a solution is implemented, such as which steps should be performed to transfer data from one system to another.
- Describe the logical flow of the system, its inputs and outputs, its data organization, the applicable business and processing rules, and how it should appear to the users.
- Define what has to be done and less with how it is done. Optional prototyping to demonstrate a complicated activity or condition.
Documented Code / Solution
- Code documentation is a collection of documents and code comments explaining how code works and how to use it. The form and size of documentation can vary.
- At Manuchar - IT & Digital, we do our code documentation in the form of an online knowledge base in Azure DevOps) in combination with shared files in Teams or Sharepoint.
Software Component
- By doing component-based development, we aim to build software out of loosely-coupled, modular components. Examples of components are web services, web resources or modules including a specific function or data.
Software Design Description
Used for recording design information, addressing various design concerns, and communicating that information to the design’s stakeholders. This SDD usually accompanies an architecture diagram with pointers to detailed feature specifications of smaller pieces of the design. Practically, the SDD is required to coordinate a team under a single vision, needs to be a stable reference, and outline all parts of the interface and how it will work.
Test Procedure
Being familiar with test procedures for interfaces like unit testing, functional testing, load testing, security testing, error detection, etc.
User Experience Design
User experience (UX) design is the process design teams use to create products that provide meaningful and relevant experiences to users. UX design involves the design of the entire process of acquiring and integrating the product, including aspects of branding, design, usability and function.
