Founded in 2011, BOTALYS is a **start-up company** specialized in the **horticultural production** of highly **bioactive** and **innovative** medicinal plants.

Botalys has developed a **unique** plants cultivation method. The company produces and commercializes **high-end premium products**: the most bioactive form of Red Ginseng. Botalys currently expands the technology and its products portfolio to other bioactive medicinal plants.

BOTALYS’ clients include key players from the nutraceutical, cosmetic, food and pharmaceutical industries. The company is currently in a **strong business development phase**.

In order to meet BOTALYS’ future challenges, we are currently looking for a **Sales Manager : Europe - Asia (M/F).**

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

Reporting to the Sales Director, your responsibility will be to achieve sales targets by developing and maintaining high quality business opportunities in the nutraceutic & food industry. As Sales Manager, you understand and share the Botalys’ vision and be ready to champion the company's unique products in the fast-paced European and Asian landscape from the offices in Belgium.

Your main responsibilities are:

- Actively discover and engage new potential clients within the nutraceutical sector.
- Develop a robust sales opportunity pipeline to convert them into signed contracts.
- Work with internal teams to give the best chance of conversion to every lead and project.
- Participate in relevant industry gatherings and events.
- Regularly update the CRM system with a focus on tracking the progression of leads.
- Act as our primary source of market intelligence in the region.
- Development of gifting strategies for our key accounts.
- Leverage tools like ChatGPT, Calendly, Pipedrive, and Odoo to enhance work efficiency, elevate service quality, and boost client satisfaction.

**PROFILE**
- You hold a Master’s degree in Business, Marketing or in a scientific field.
- You have around 3-5 years’ experience in sales and BD, preferably within the nutraceutical industry or a similar sector.
- You have a deep understanding of and alignment with European and Asian culture.
- You have a hunter mentality, with a proactive approach.
- You have strong negotiation skills to secure business while maintaining client relationships.
- You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- You are fluent in English. Every other language is a plus.
- You are familiar with CRM systems and sales forecasting tools.
- You are willing to travel frequently, as the role requires at least one week of travel within the Europe per month.
