**EQUANS**, the new name of ENGIE Solutions in Belgium, is looking for a **Head of Sales and Business Development Offshore Wind** for Hoboken.
- project board/supervisory board/Steerco member:

- participate in monthly board meetings
- represent EQUANS' offshore management
- mandate to make commercial/financial/operational decisions on behalf of EQUANS
- leadership:

- daily people management
- set clear goals & KPI’s on departmental/individual level
- steer/optimize and lead the offshore strategy
- manage KPI’s on a daily basis the BD/Tendering organization
- internal & external stakeholder management
- create winning partnerships
- business development:

- prospection for new opportunities, early involvement is key
- exchange with clients to anticipate requests/demands/bids and influence, if possible, requirements to maximize EQUANS' Offshore Division chances during bidding process
- understanding of the customer’s needs (what is at stake for the clients - where are the most important items - how can we differentiate towards competition) and translate this into clear instructions to the Tendering Manager
- formulate and communicate Strategy to Win (STW) per project
- tendering management:

- high quality preparation and validation of the bid to be sent to the client according to the Commitment Governance & Golden Rules
- define the dedicated Tender team for the preparation of the tender by allocating the requested support in the kick-off meeting to the different support lines (Engineering, Project Management, HSE, Legal and Contract, Procurement, Quality, )
- accountable for the definition of the “total costs” for the works to be performed (i.e. proper distribution of the scope of works and discussion with the different “services providers - cost centers” + gathering of all data + interfaces management internal and with the JV partners, if any (no gap - completion of the costs)
- guarantee that all the documentation to be part of the bid is prepared in due time, with the requested quality, client’s requirements and within the tender budget
- maximize process and bid document standardization
- reporting:

- coordinate the internal reporting (with Estimation, BD/Tendering & Marketing, Project Management, Tendering Engineering, Planning, Contract Management, Procurement, HSE, QA/QC and Monitoring & Maintenance,
- coordinate FABCC/BNLCC and CPAC/CDE reporting
- provide commercial/strategy input for quarterly BQR meetings

**Do you possess the following qualifications & skills?**
- university level degree, master of science in engineering, commercial engineer, international management
- strong leadership background with at least 10 years of experience
- strong business development track record
- excellent track record related to HSE management in workshops, EPCI environment
- you know how businesses work, are knowledgeable in current and future policies, trends, technology and information affecting your business and organisation. You know the competition, and are aware of how strategies and tactics work in the marketplace (market focus)
- leadership: you are a business leader who is able to define strategy and to implement it. You motivate people and create buy-in from all concerned stakeholders
- people management: you are able to build strong teams, stimulate personal developments via practical and external training programs
