We are currently looking for a Senior Project Engineer for the Chemical Industry in Nívelles, Belgium. The role of the Project Engineer in PM is to deliver the client more than the satisfactory quality of the services delivered to the client, within the budget and planning defined. We are continuously growing and tend to hire highly motivated professionals in order to cover more geographical and industrial fields around the globe. As an employee of IPS, you will actively participate in a wide range of project work, ranging from small improvements to large industrial constructions.

Your Challenge*
Deliver the client the more than satisfactory quality of the services delivered to the client, within the budget and planning defined.

Manage the full phases of the projects, including:

Project feasibility: building layout, technical space / white space layout, overall Time Schedule, procurement Strategy, financial plan, resilient design.
- Project preparation phase: investment analysis, basic engineering, TIER checklist, permitting, financing and procurement.
- Project realization phase: project management; detailed engineering, construction management, commissioning management, operational management.

Define, monitor, and mitigate project risks to ensure key project milestones are met.

Manage the project following internal IPS methodology.

Act as project team representative for the purpose of capacity and prioritization governance.

Lead timely and accurate reporting of project progress and risks.

Requirements*
**Education**:

- Master degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Bio
- Engineer.

**Experience**:

- 5- 7 years in a Project Environment

**Skills**:

- Proactive and strong leadership skills.
- Creative, high flexibility while working, result driven, team working but also high autonomy
- Extensive skills in management, effective communication, and problem-solving.
- Customer oriented and presentation skills
- Geographical mobility based on project Needs

**Languages**:

- Fluent in English, French or/and Dutch.

**Other**:

- AutoCAD and/or MS Project is an asset.
- Driver license B
