Actuarial Function Officer

Als lid van het departement Actuariële Functie kom je in contact met alle aspecten van de verzekeringsbusiness (Leven en Niet-Leven), gaande van de analyse van een nieuw product tot een herverzekeringscontract tot de beoordeling van de verzekeringstechnische voorzieningen en de modellen die hiervoor gebruikt worden. Ook forward looking topics behoren tot de scope. Op die manier bekom je een goed overzicht van de ganse maatschappij.
De job in een notendop
Het departement Actuariële Functie is verantwoordelijk voor de uitoefening van haar wettelijk takenpakket : de voorzieningen, de onderschrijvingspolitiek, het herverzekeringsprogramma, de rentabiliteit,Daarnaast valideert zij ook de modellen die gebruikt worden voor de berekening van de beste schatter van de voorzieningen (Solvency II- en IFRS17 balans). Zij besteedt aandacht aan de nieuwe risico’s die op ons afkomen en die een impact (kunnen) hebben op de verzekeringsactiviteit.
Je belangrijkste taak is het autonoom uitvoeren van de analyses die jou toevertrouwd worden, gaande van de eerste informatiemeeting tot het formuleren en presenteren van de conclusies aan de stakeholders. Hiervoor zal je veel in contact komen met de andere actuariële teams en het Risk departement binnen Belfius Insurance.
Je komt terecht in een team momenteel bestaat uit 3 personen. Je zal een efficiënt controlesysteem met op punt stellen dat kan gebruikt worden in het kader van de assessment van de IFRS17-balans waarbij je ook aandacht besteedt aan de rentabiliteit van de verzekeringsproducten. Je werkt eveneens de bijhorende rapportering uit.
Daarnaast zal je ook topics Leven en Niet-Leven behandelen. Je zal de kans krijgen om je permanent bij te scholen zodat je op de hoogte blijft van de nieuwe ontwikkelingen op de verzekeringsmarkt en de nieuwe technieken die toegepast worden.

Bij ons mag je volop je vleugels uitslaan als je iemand bent met:
- Een diploma actuariaat, wiskunde, natuurkunde, ingenieur of gelijkwaardig ;
- Je hebt meer dan 3 jaar ervaring in het domein van de verzekeringen ;
- Je bent vertrouwd met IFRS17 ;
- Je bent kritisch ingesteld, je gaat analytisch en gestructureerd te werk en je bent nieuwsgierig van aard ;
- Je kan je standpunten goed formuleren, zowel schriftelijk in een nota als mondeling tijdens een presentatie ;
- Je bent een teamspeler maar je kan ook autonoom werken ;
- Je vindt het natuurlijk om feedback te even en te krijgen ;
- Je bent tweetalig (Nederlands / Frans) ;
- Je hebt een goede kennis van de kantoorautomatiseringstools (Excel, Word, Ppt,..) ;
- Je hebt een goede kennis van SAS, Prophet,of je bent bereid om ze snel aan te leren ;
