As a **Business Analyst IoT**, you will play a critical role in the digital transformation of the Assets department. This transformation is essential to support evolving energy needs and enhance the efficiency of industrial operations, especially in the fields of **remote maintenance** and **predictive maintenance**.
Your role will bridge the gap between business needs and IT systems, focusing on projects involving **IoT**, **Big Data**, and **Artificial Intelligence**. You will design and optimize business processes, challenge the business on their needs, and align these requirements with IT teams to ensure successful implementation.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Analyze and model business processes, guiding teams in process redesign.
- Perform **impact analysis** to evaluate the effect of process or system changes.
- Develop **context diagrams**, **business domain models**, and write **user stories** or **use cases**.
- Define business needs for IT tools to support processes, providing clear guidelines for implementation.
- Work closely with IT teams, including functional analysts and project leaders, to validate and challenge proposed solutions.
- Conduct testing and validate releases of new tools and systems.
- Actively contribute to **change management**, creating training materials, and offering user training.
- Support **post-implementation** usage of IT tools and ensure alignment between business and IT.
**Additional Responsibilities**:
- Validate the functional analysis conducted by IT.
- Support data quality initiatives and assist with data migrations.
- Align with other departments and stakeholders on various business processes.
**Required Qualifications**:
- **Master’s degree** (preferably in a technical field) or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of **5 years’ experience** capturing and translating business needs.
- Experience in **business process modeling** and **impact analysis**.
- Knowledge of **IoT**, **AI**, or related technologies is a plus.
- Experience with maintaining **industrial assets** is a plus.
- Knowledge of **test plan creation** and **execution**.
- Proficiency in creating **training materials** and conducting training for end users.
- **Language**: Dutch, French, and English.
