**Functiebeschrijving** Doel van de functie**

Je volgt strategische en reglementaire dossiers op om de solvabiliteit van Ethias te evalueren, om de technische en financiële risico's van onze activiteiten te meten, en om de prestaties van de verschillende verzekeringsproducten te analyseren vanuit de invalshoek rendement/risico.

Je zal deel uitmaken van een dynamisch en pluridisciplinair team dat openstaat voor de nieuwe uitdagingen die eigen zijn aan de evolutie van de verzekeringssector.

**Functiebeschrijving**

Je neemt voornamelijk deel aan de volgende opdrachten van de dienst:

- Je berekent de solvabiliteit van de onderneming en de kapitaalvereisten.
- Je beoordeelt de gevoeligheid van de solvabiliteitsratio voor scenario's (intern en regelmenterig tests stress)
- Je draagt bij aan de evolutie van de modellen en methodes om in overeenstemming te zijn met de reglementering.
- Je optimaliseert de procedures vanuit een streven naar operationele uitmuntendheid.
- Je analyseert de afstemming van de Solvency II-standaardformule op het risicoprofiel van onze portefeuilles.
- Je neemt deel aan de ontwikkeling van het interne model.
- Je volgt de evolutie in de verzekeringsreglementering op: Solvency II, IFRS.

Je neemt ter ondersteuning deel aan de andere opdrachten van de dienst:

- Je stelt mee rapporten op voor de toezichthoudende autoriteiten, zowel nationaal (NBB) als Europees (EIOPA).
- Je voert van tweedelijnscontroles op nieuwe investeringen en ALM-strategie uit
- Je identificeert de grote risico's op basis van het aandeel van elk risico in het samen te stellen kapitaal.
- Je bepaalt de actiehefbomen om onze risicoblootstelling op kostenefficiënte wijze te verminderen
- Je werkt mee aan de tarifering van nieuwe verzekeringsproducten door de kost van het economisch kapitaal hierin op te nemen.
- Je analyseert de performantie van het duo "rendement/risico" voor de verzekeringsproducten.
- Je beantwoordt specifieke vragen van de regulator.

**Profiel**
- Je hebt een universitair diploma in een kwantitatieve richting (actuariaat, wetenschappen, wiskunde of beheer) met een bijkomende opleiding in financiën en/of in verzekeringen.
- Je hebt liefst ervaring in actuariële wetenschappen, financiële boekhouding of risicobeheer.
- Je kan zowel in teamverband als zelfstandig werken.
- Je redeneert volgens objectieve analyses en legt jouw conclusies helder uit.
- Je bereikt de doelstellingen binnen de vooropgestelde termijnen.
- Je communiceert efficiënt en constructief. Zo zet je de belangrijke punten in de kijker en vind je een oplossing voor problemen.
- Je bent bereid je kennis uit te breiden en te updaten via permanente opleiding (intern en/of extern).
- Je bent beschikbaar en flexibel.
- Je bent zeer stressbestendig.
- Je hebt een goede beheersing van Office (Excel, Word); kennis van kwantitatieve software is wenselijk (R, MatLab, Python)
- Je hebt een zeer goede kennis van het Frans en je beheerst het Engels op een professioneel niveau.
