**Your responsibilities**:

- You will be in charge of the technical analysis of new platforms, components and features which will add to the current technical landscape. In this context, you will:

- Lead the strategic design of cloud-native solutions, closely aligning with business objectives to facilitate seamless integration.
- Have an MVP mindset to constantly be pragmatic and deliver solutions per blocks/components.
- You will have extended autonomy on technology choices (in alignment with the head of architecture). We are currently promoting the following technologies: Java 17+, Kubernetes, Spring Boot, REST/gRPC/SOAP, Kafka,
- With that, we are also moving towards modern development paradigms « Cloud Native » (Micro-services-based architecture; Hub & Spoke based or event-driven choreography architecture).

**Technical skills**:

- MUST - experience with Java world & frameworks (Spring, SpringBoot,)
- MUST - experience with API world (REST, SOAP, gRPC,)
- MUST - experience with containers world (Kubernetes or OpenShift, Docker,)
- SHOULD - experience with technology stacks (Kafka, HazelCast,)
- SHOULD - experience with data stores (Oracle, PostGreSQL,)
- SHOULD - experience with development tooling & packaging (Maven, GIT, Jenkins, Helm,)

**soft skills**:

- Very autonomous, you should be at ease with working independently on solutions along with colleagues, without requiring regular supervision from the management.
- Open-minded and solution driven. We operate in a field with constant changes (political decisions, budgets shifts,), you should be able to adapt and not get frustrated by changes.
- Ready to collaborate with internal & external stakeholders.
- French or Dutch speaking. English is mandatory (for meetings and for document writing).
