Twipe is a mediatech scale-up based in Leuven, Belgium working with leading newspaper publishers in Europe and the US to grow their digital subscribers and sustain quality journalism. We offer cloud based digital edition publishing, analytics, and personalization solutions. Our innovative solutions accelerate the growth of newspapers including Le Monde, The Telegraph and the various titles of Mediahuis (De Standaard, Het Nieuwsblad, De Telegraaf, ).
To inspire our industry, we gather and analyze industry knowledge and share insights with our growing Future of News publishers’ community.
**Why are we hiring?**
Joining our product chapter, you will structure the solution analysis. As the main link between our product and engineering teams, you will challenge the former on requirements and the latter on implementation.
We build solutions in co-development with our key customers. As such, we grant utmost importance to agility and pragmatism. You will be responsible for striking the right balance between structuring and delivering through ‘just enough architecture’.
**What do you do?**
- You build a deep knowledge and understanding of our various solutions in front-end, back-end and data
- You create and design scalable solutions that answer all functional requirements
- You document the choices that are made in a way that both business and technical teams can understand
- You coach and provide guidance to team members to make sure that the defined architecture is well followed and that solutions quality are guaranteed
- You ensure that adequate monitoring are in place

**Your track record**:
- You have a successful track record in a similar role where you built solid architectural vision and proven hands-on implementation
- You’re experienced in building and designing an architecture in a context of various complex solutions
- You have strong knowledge of architecture models such as hexagonal architecture, DDD or BDD
- You’re comfortable with the concept of infrastructure-as-code (Terraform)
- You’re familiar with the concepts of platform design
- Experience with serverless technology, preferably AWS, is a plus
