Juice Ingredients Buyer

**Roles & Responsibilities**:

- Purchasing of Juice ingredients and additives/flavours (~$5MM spend)
- Contract management ownership, supporting purchasing managers across all direct materials
- SAP master user / order creation and invoice resolution
- Ensures all required processes & procedures are promptly followed to ensure Control compliance for the assigned juice portfolio.
- Maintains a solid working knowledge of all laws, duties, taxes and regulations affecting purchase and delivery of assigned commodities.
- Understands price and cost structure and their associated drivers. Optimises Total Cost of Ownership through leveraging internal & external drivers.
- Evaluates supplier offers based on balanced evaluation criteria, i,e, cost, quality, service, innovation, sustainability.
- Actively supports the launch of New Products in Europe by setting up cost efficient supply chains and ensuring timely availability of juice ingredients.
- Includes domestic and international travel up to 20% for Business reviews and supplier meetings/audits

- Functional expertise: Good knowledge of internal processes (Finance and Control, Supply Chain, Quality & Vendor Assurance, etc) and an existing network of key stakeholders (Operations, R&D, Finance and Marketing) are required. Basic knowledge of the juice value chains and markets (supplier & competitor landscape, market fundamentals, agricultural forces, etc). Prior experience in either a Procurement or juice Supply Chain / Operations role.
