Elia is de beheerder van het Belgische hoogspanningsnet van 380 kV tot 30 kV. Elia staat in voor de ontwikkeling en het onderhoud van dit net, maakt het toegankelijk voor de gebruikers en regelt de energiestromen. De Elia groep heeft een team van 2000 professionals die als opdracht hebben de continuïteit van de elektriciteitsbevoorrading in België en een deel van Duitsland te waarborgen.
Als eigenaar en beheerder van de transmissienetten in België en Duitsland heeft Elia een belangrijke rol en opdracht in het ondersteunen en concretiseren van het Europees energie
- en klimaatbeleid.

**Functiebeschrijving**:
Als transmissienetbeheerders (TNB’s) hebben Elia in België en 50Hertz in Duitsland de opdracht om de klimaatambities van de Europese Green Deal waar te maken. Vandaar dat Elia Group haar investeringsprogramma versnelt. Wij bereiden onze onshore en offshore netinfrastructuur voor op de integratie van grote volumes hernieuwbare productie om onze maatschappij op een duurzame manier te elektrificeren. Daarom werken wij alsmaar vaker samen met andere sectoren en landen.
Om de betrouwbaarheid van het elektriciteitssysteem in deze snel veranderende omgeving te garanderen, investeren wij volop in digitalisering. Naast onze maatschappelijke betrokkenheid verbeteren wij onze eigen interne werking en integreren wij duurzame praktijken in onze strategie. Op die manier dragen wij actief bij tot de versnelling van de koolstofarme maatschappij.
Binnen Elia Group is het departement ‘Group Controlling & Investor Relations’ de businesspartner van het management van de Groep voor het performance management en de financiële rapportering van de Groep en haar entiteiten. Het departement stuurt het businessplan van de Groep in haar geheel aan, stelt de financieringsstrategie voor, maakt controle
- en financiële analyses voor de activiteiten van de Groep en beheert de relatie met de investeerders.
Als Business Controller ben je verantwoordelijk voor het opmaken en coördineren van de planning, het budget, de prognose
- en rapporteringsactiviteiten m.b.t. de holding en de Groep (bijv. groepsprojecten met verschillende entiteiten). Je zal de managers van de Groep ondersteunen als businesspartner voor het businessplan, de beheerskosten en de financiële performance.
De functie omvat voornamelijk volgend takenpakket:
- Verantwoordelijk zijn voor de financiële planning, prognoses, rapportering en financiële closing van de departementen van de Groep en projecten.
- Adequate rapportering en kostencontrolestructuren voorzien; de intercompany-relaties beheren en monitoren.
- Een solide financiële rapportering en juiste prognoses voorzien die de risico’s en opportuniteiten in kaart brengen maar ook correctieve maatregelen voorstellen in nauwe samenwerking met de business
- Controlemethodes en -processen ontwikkelen in het kader van de digitale transformatie, analytische inzichten verbeteren en de automatisering opvoeren
- Optreden als een financiële businesspartner voor de strategische projecten van de Groep
Als Business Controller binnen ‘Group Controlling’ zal je gevestigd zijn in Brussel en deel uitmaken van het ‘Group Controlling & Investor Relations’-team dat samengesteld is uit teamleden die gevestigd zijn in Brussel en in Berlijn. Je zal rapporteren aan het Head of Business Controlling.
**Jouw profiel**:
- Master in business administration, business engineering, financiën of gelijkwaardig
- Minimum 5-7 jaar ervaring in een controlling-functie
- Sterke analytische vaardigheden en een proactieve houding
- Autonoom en in een internationaal team kunnen werken
- Zeer goede kennis van Excel en SAP; affiniteit met innovatieve rapporteringstools in een belangrijke troef
- Vlot Engels en Nederlands en/of Frans spreken, kennis van het Duits is een pluspunt
- Bereid zijn om te reizen (vooral naar Duitsland)
