IT Security Project Manager

The primary role of the Project Manager is to work closely with customers to drive the successful delivery of IT projects, particularly around the newer IT Security Technologies.
The Project Manager will facilitate the management of scope for the customer’s requirements, plan implementations and deliver to the planned scope and budget.
**Key responsibilities**
- Lead project delivery from beginning to end
- Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with management and stakeholders
- Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents following the company’s standard
- Draft and submit budget proposals, and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary as per defined process
- Ensure that project meets its deliverables in agreed schedule, as per the scope, within stipulated budget and as per the quality standards
- Effectively communicate project expectations to team lead and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion
- Ensures project or service scope and deliverables are defined and agreed with all relevant parties
- Liaise with client (SNCB/MNBS) and IT Teams on an ongoing basis
- Diagnose and evaluate potential risks and issues throughout the project and executes appropriate plans to mitigate them. Report regularly to the Team Lead and Stakeholders with regard to risks
- Be a key member of the overall Project Delivery Services Team
- 5+ years relevant experience with project management in following domain: IT Security
- Relevant experience in one of the following domains:
- Directs team members assigned to projects tasks and operational activities associated with security cyber risk management
- Background in Data Security and security certifications such as CISSP, CISA or CISM is an asset
- Experience and understanding of IAM, IGA & PAM concepts
- Functional knowledge and architectural understanding of Microsoft Azure
- Comprehensive understanding of Information Security Frameworks (e.g. ISMS, ISO 27001, NIS, etc.) and data privacy act such as GDPR
- Understanding of the principles of monitoring and reporting on compliance with security and data protection policies, as well as the enforcement of policies
- Working knowledge of Security Architecture and potential security issues related to them PaaS, IaaS, SaaS
- Understanding of Data Loss Prevention
- IT Infrastructure such as Data Centres (physical security), Cloud (Azure, IaaS/SaaS)
- Knowledge /experience Networking (ex: Iso Layer 7 Model) & Encryption
- Experience within Public Sector will also be considered an asset

- Demonstrated “can do” work ethic coupled with effective Self-management and ability to overcome ambiguously or under-defined problems
- Knowledge of Agile delivery methodology and SAFe (Essentials) are considered an asset
- Project Management Certification (PMP, Prince2, PM²) is a MUST
- Can facilitate Steerco, project update meetings and guide resources
- Possesses the ability to communicate, present and produce documentation on various levels for differing audiences
- Proficient in Dutch, French and English
