Master Production Scheduler
**Your new company**:
Our client is a global pharmaceutical company specializing in providing access to critical medicines and improving patient outcomes.
**Your new role**:
- Integrate forecast from Sales & Business Development (S&OP).
- Create and monitor a supply plan considering site capacities, capabilities, inventory, and customer requirements.
- Assist in making work siting decisions (D&OP).
- Generate a master production schedule to control production and the internal/external supply chain.
- Ensure periodic maintenance and qualification of facilities/equipment are included in the schedule.
- Lead the strategic make/buy process, evaluating options for internalization or externalization.
- Conduct rough cut capacity planning and provide comprehensive reporting to management (KPIs, D&OP) across multiple sites.
- Identify operational efficiencies and support productivity initiatives by suggesting implementation strategies.
- Develop and implement balanced production plans and leveled schedules across sites.
- Track production progress to ensure timely delivery of commitments.
- Monitor material supply flow, promptly identifying and addressing shortages or bottlenecks.
- Plan and prioritize operations to optimize performance and minimize delays.
- Determine manpower, equipment, and raw material requirements for both short and long-term production planning.
**Your profile**:
- Technical manufacturing background in a GMP (pharmaceutical) environment
- In-depth knowledge of manufacturing planning, master production scheduling, inventory control, materials requirements planning, capacity requirements planning, shop floor control and warehousing (minimum 5 years of industry experience).
- Strong analytical skills.
- High organizational and planning skills.
- Excellent communication and intercultural skills.
- Customer-oriented mindset (both internal and external stakeholders).
- Proficient in IT
- Fluent in English (knowledge of other languages like French or German is advantageous).
- Travel requirement: Less than 15-20%.
