WAREHOUSE OPERATOR

The warehouse operator is an experienced warehouse operator, with an applied knowledge on the broad set of warehouse processes: dealing with goods and products that come into the warehouses of Biocartis, making sure that all activities regarding goods receipt, line feeding, internal & external distribution, clean warehouse management, inventory position and related administrative tasks are handled properly.

He or she can perform independently, is able to coach others and is actively contributing to and improving the job.

We are looking for an experienced warehouse operator or someone who shows the motivation and capabilities to learn quickly and, in time, perform independently, able to coach colleagues and actively contribute to improving the logistics processes.

**Accountabilities**

The Warehouse Operator is responsible for:

- Warehouse operations
- Goods Receipt process (physically and in ERP)
- Appropriate storage on pallet and on the shelves
- Physical distribution (Order Fulfillment Process)
- Logistics coordination
- Supplier performance
- Customer & logistics complaints
- Timely supply of the necessary raw materials to the manufacturing line
- Keep the warehouse clean according to the Lean 5S principles
- Take care of other activities such as administrative tasks, establishing specific documents for export purposes.

**Profile requirements**
- Technical high shool degree or equivalent by experience;
- Warehouse and shipment experience;
- Experience with order picking, packing of shipments, storing of materials;
- Good warehouse practices;
- Applied knowledge in logistics and inventory processes;
- Basic knowledge of cold chain actions and equipment;
- Experience with operating a forklift / reach truck;
- Applied knowledge of HSE processes;
- Applied knowledge of MS Office, online shipping software tools, ERP system (D365);
- Knowledge of Incoterm 2020, GxP, ISO 13485;
- Good communication skills in Dutch and English.
