Stantec International Development, based in La Hulpe (south Brussels), is the Stantec unit that provides consulting services to international institutions, such as the European Commission (EC), the European Investment Bank (EIB) and EU bilateral donors such as DFID, or AFD. We support international donors and financial institutions improve the design, implementation, and oversight of development programs throughout the world.

The company has assumed many leadership roles and provided a complete range of management services for energy projects and in 2019, the EU Global Technical Assistance Facility for Sustainable Energy (GTAF) has been awarded to the Belgium based International Development Unit of the company.

The overall objective of the GTAF is to contribute to establishing the necessary conditions for achieving the SDG7 goals in sustainable energy and possible interlinkages with other SDGs. It will as well contribute to the SDG13 goals related to climate action in DCI eligible countries with a focus on Sub-Saharan Africa.

The GTAF is supporting sector policy dialogue and sector governance reforms in the countries and regions active in the sustainable energy sector and support the energy transformation process. It designs specific actions for targeted countries and regions in order to improve their governance, regulatory and business facilitation gaps in their legislation and institutional setup.

You will be supporting the GTAF team in the full recruitment and staffing of numerous team and individual energy related assignments.

The role will include:

- Support the GTAF team with the development of job descriptions and posting advertisements on a variety of job boards and social media, where applicable
- Management of the collection of necessary employment certificates and diplomas from applicants; cross-referencing with the information on the CV; Assisting in formatting and writing CVs

**Qualifications**:
Applicants should as a minimum have the following qualifications and skills:

- Academic background: BA or MA in International Relations, Economy, Political Science, Psychology, Business Administration;
- An excellent command of the use of online platforms as sourcing tools;
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment;
- Ability to multitask, often with inflexible deadlines;
- Strong ability in networking: able to develop sustainable working relationship with consultants/experts;
- Experience in the field environment/energy/climate change or in a similar technical assistance environment would be considered as an asset;
- Languages: solid written and spoken English and French.
